The Eulogy

So, its the day after the Sugar Bowl and it sucks. Definitely not the way I wanted the careers of some of my favorite Irish players to end. It was sooooooo disappointing. By half time I thought we had a chance but for some reason the team didn't show up in the second half. So now Brady Quinn and Jeff Samardzija have completed their career at Notre Dame. Its been an interesting 4 years. From Brady's first season, to the arrival of Charlie Weis and the offense getting into gear to the debacles of the 3 losses this year. There have been a lot of highs and some really low lows, but I will still look upon these four years with happiness. It was nice to once again get behind ND and watch them climb the poles for once. Hopefully this year will finally make everyone want a playoff system. Its really sad to see Brady and Jeff leave. There the first guys I really wanted to succeed and do well as I watched them really closely the past two years. I'm looking forward to seeing whats to come in the next couple years. I think in 2 years we'll be really competitive with the other big schools like Michigan, USC, and Ohio State. But I'll always miss this team from the last two years. I'm pouring one out for you guys!
